The following events are planned by the WGV Social Committee:
-- Wednesday, June 20, Happy Hour at Augustino's bar area starting at 5 p.m.
-- The July Happy Hour is scheduled for Wednesday, July 18 at Cortese's Bistro (across the street from the St. Augustine carousel), starting at 5 p.m.
-- August 15 Happy Hour will be at the new Shellfish Grille, at 5 p.m. The Shellfish Grille is the new restaurant that opened near the Comfort Suites.
We look forward to visiting with our neighbors and meeting new neighbors.
NEW WGV BOOK SHARING LIBRARY
Announcing the new World Golf Village sharing library, housed at the King & Bear fitness center. Residents can donate books or borrow books at their convenience, leisure reading only; no text books. If you have books that you would like to donate, bring them to the fitness center and place them on the shelves. There is no cost and you can keep books as long as you like. Contact Ronnie Botnick 940-0972 with questions or suggestions.
NEED A SUMMER JOB?
The Amenity Services Group (the people who manage the tennis/swim/fitness center) is currently seeking part and full time staff for St. Johns, Clay and Duval counties. They are now offering season job opportunities for lifeguards, swim instructors, pool monitors, facility attendants, and aquatics supervisors. We offer competitive pay and great benefits, and provide the necessary certifications. Prior experience is helpful but not required. Lifeguard certification classes starting soon.
